While Pronto™, Wagner Zip-Change® and Bevelite-Adler tracks will accomodate rigid letter thicknesses of .060" to .080", the .080" thick Pronto letters are the best choice for outdoor marquis signs without vandal covers. Thinner letters are more likely to be blown out in windy conditions if not protected by vandal covers.
Two features of Pronto Letters not available on other brands are (1) raised panel edges which keep the printed letters from being scratched by rubbing against the sign face and letter track, and (2) the "feet" at the bottom which minimize sticking in icy weather.

1. Make Sure Pronto Letters are Right for Your Sign
If you already have letters for your sign and they are "flex" letters (Flex letters are as thin or thinner than a credit card and bend easily.) similar to those shown at the left, non-flexible .063" to .080" changeable letters will not work in your sign.
If you have no letters for your existing sign, take a look at the track. If all the tracks are identical, 7/8" or less in width, and they look like the sample in the bottom left image, you need flex letters, not Pronto Letters.

2. Determine the Letter Height and Panel Height
If you already have changeable letters for your sign, the next step is to measure the letter height and the panel height.
Please note that if your letters are 8" high, there are two different panel heights available, 8 7/8" and 9 7/8". Make sure you measure!
If you do not have letters, give us a call and we'll help you determine the correct size.
3. Determine the Letter Style and Color
Knowing the letter height and panel height, you can now choose the letter style and color you want by clicking here. All letter styles and colors are the same price, are in stock in the factory and ship within three days from the day the factory receives your order from Aztec.
